Dr. Shah received her undergraduate degree from Case Western Reserve University, and went on to complete her medical doctorate at Northeast Ohio Medical University where she graduated at the top of her class.She completed her preliminary transitional year at Georgetown University, in Washington DC, and ophthalmology residency at George Washington University, where she served as chief resident. She went on to pursue further fellowship training in cornea, refractive, and external disease at Emory University, in Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Shah has performed thousands of cataract and laser vision correction procedures. She has taught and assisted residents in how to successfully perform advanced, no stitch cataract surgery during her time at MetroHealth Medical Center, where she served as Assistant Profressor of Ophthalomology at Case Western Reserve University for two and half years prior to moving to Columbus. She was in practice at ReVision Lasik and Cataract surgery in Columbus, OH for four and half years prior to joining Arena Eye Surgeons. Dr. Shah’s passion derives from helping each patient achieve their desired outcome through compassion, skill, and empathy.
